Cannonvale man busted with 55kg of dope

South Australian Police arrested a 41 year old Cannonvale man in the early hours of Friday 31 August after the vehicle he was driving was stopped at Meadows, South Australia.
At about 2am police located several large boxes containing a total of 55kgs of vacuum packed high grade cannabis, believed to be equivalent to 28,000 street deals. 

A 41-year-old man from Cannonvale (Airlie Beach, Whitsundays) in Queensland was arrested and charged with possession of a large commercial quantity of cannabis. 
Detectives from the Hills Fleurieu Local Service Area later searched a house at Meadows and located almost $340,000 in cash. 

A 40-year-old Meadows man was also arrested and charged with unlawful possession and conspiring to traffic in a large commercial quantity of cannabis. This significant quantity of cannabis is one of the largest seizures to be found in the Adelaide Hills. Both men will appear in court at a later date.
