'Hall of Fame' Tour operator goes public

'Captain Pete' Ryan, long time resident, owner / operator of Aviation Adventures, and Tourism Whitsundays "Hall of Famer" has joined several other notable locals and expressed his concerns about the direction of tourism management of the Whitsundays.

Here Captain Pete expresses his concerns on the Tourism Whitsundays Facebook site:

Captain Pete joins a growing group who are concerned about how tourism is managed in the Whitsundays. Here, ex Director of Tourism Whitsundays, John Nayler, expresses his concerns, which was also posted on Tourism Whitsundays Facebook site (but later removed, again):

And we have the ex General Manager of Daydream Island, Philip Batty, who has expressed deep concerns with not only the operation and management of Tourism Whitsundays, but has found almost countles errors with TW's marketing and websites, which could feasbly be contributing to this regions tourism downward spiral. His full email can be found here.

* The latest competition run by Tourism Whitsundays has been stuffed up again - we'll be coming out with another story about these massive 'marketing fails' soon.

* Being a team leader is important. You would think the CEO of a very important organization, like an RTO, who's Xmas Party theme is 'White', would lead by example? Or not?
