Bikini bandit robs video store in Cannonvale

A man and woman have been charged following the robbery of a Cannonvale video store last night.
Just after 7pm a woman walked into the Paluma Road business and allegedly demanded cash from a female employee, whilst intimating that she was armed with a firearm.
It will be alleged the woman left the scene in a car being driven by a man.
No one was physically harmed during the robbery.
A 29-year-old woman has been charged with armed robbery.
A 35-year-old man has been charged with armed robbery, possess thing used in the commission of a crime, unlicensed driving, driving over general alcohol limit, possess dangerous drug and possess utensil.
The man and woman, both from Dingo Beach are scheduled to appear in the Proserpine Magistrates Court Monday December 1.

A woman wearing a grey t-shirt and fluro pink bikini bottom robbed a Cannonvale video store this evening.

Just after 7pm the woman walked into the Paluma Road business and demanded cash from a female employee, whilst intimating that she was armed with a firearm.

The woman fled on foot with a sum of cash and was last seen walking in the direction of Shute Harbour Drive.

She is described as aged between 25 to 40, approximately 178cms tall with a proportionate build, fair complexion and short blonde hair, and was not wearing shoes.


No one was physically harmed during the robbery and police investigations are continuing.
