Firefighters remain on the scene of a LPG tanker rollover at Shute Harbour Road and Whitsunday Drive, Airlie Beach.
Emergency services were initially called to the incident about 12.35am.
Firefighters assessed and isolated leaks on the tanker and are making the area safe while awaiting the arrival of salvage tankers so the contents of the truck can be decanted.
This is expected to be a protracted incident.
Paramedics transported one person from the incident, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, to Proserpine Hospital with minor injuries.

Police are currently at the scene of a traffic crash where a semi-trailer carrying LPG has rolled.Initial information suggests that the truck rolled on Shute Harbour Road at around 12.30am, near the foreshore of Shute Harbour and a petrol station.The driver of the truck was transported to Proserpine Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.Shute Harbour Road is currently closed to all traffic, and is expected to remain so for several hours.There are no diversions in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area. Investigations are continuing.
