Armed robbery at Take Away store in Bowen last night

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a take-away store in Bowen late last night.
Initial investigations indicate a man approached the 60-year-old victim at the rear of the Gregory Street store just before 10pm armed with a firearm.
He demanded money from the man before he entered the store and approached a 57-year-old woman standing behind the counter.
The man threatened the victim and demanded money.
She handed him a sum of cash before he ran from the scene.
He is described as around 180cm tall with a dark complexion and solid build. He was wearing a red shirt and three quarter length pants.
