Coreen the Cranky Curlew reports from the gardens of Qualia, Hamilton Island:
What happened to the peace and quiet? For the last few months, I have been able to fly over (or hitch a ride on the barge) to Hamilton Island and stay in the beautiful, peaceful grounds of Qualia. the most stress I'd get would be to dodge the odd buggy or two.
Well, after about four photographers and two TV crews almost trampled my 'holiday nest' looking for 'unofficial' footage of some lady, I did a runner down to the Fauna Park, also known to my local wildlife mates as 'Sanctuary'.
My mates down there have it pretty good. Food, shelter and security for a 'few cuddles'. A couple of close mates (lets call them K1 and K2 to protect their identities) have always enjoyed 'a bit of fun' after lunch for some reason (I reckon its the gum leaves).
Well, today, there was no privacy for K1 and K2 (here's a photo - I've asked this blog to protect their identities).
Here's the full story . . .
