Local website sees 10,000% improvement

A Whitsundays Social Media business has helped propel a local Civil Celebrants small website from around 20 hits to over 1500 hits a day in less than a week.

Philip Batty, owner of susanbatty.com, said on Monday that since the launch of the updated website, visits to his partner's website have increased almost 100 fold (10,000 percent increase).

Roam Media designed the new website, plus co-ordinated a micro 'Social Media' campaign through Twitter and Facebook, to launch the new look.

Roam have been operating quietly in the Whitsundays for over ten years, with a spokesperson saying today that they prefer their clients to receive the spotlight.

Some Roam Media statistics:
Twitter - around 70,000 Tweets (over 7 million characters) sent;
Live TV - 34,000+ hours of live Whitsundays TV delivered;
Live WebCams - over 200,000 hours of live streaming images;
Websites hits - almost 1 million
