Weather Situation On Friday, hot, dry, strong and gusty west to southwesterly winds are expected to maintain Extreme fire danger in the Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast Districts, and Severe fire danger in the Central Highlands and Coalfields, Maranoa and Warrego, and Wide Bay and Burnett Districts for the next few hours. On Saturday, hot, dry, fresh and gusty south to southwesterly winds are expected to produce Severe fire danger in the Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, Herbert and Lower Burdekin, Central Coast and Whitsundays, Capricornia, and Wide Bay and Burnett Districts. For the rest of Friday 8 November: Extreme Fire Danger in the following forecast districts: Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast Severe Fire Danger in the following forecast districts: Central Highlands and Coalfields, Maranoa and Warrego and Wide Bay and Burnett For Saturday 9 November: Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts: Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, Herbert and Lower Burdekin, Central Coast and Whitsundays, Capricornia and Wide Bay and Burnett The Rural Fire Service Queensland advises you to: Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
