ISOLATED MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF THE FLOOD WATCH AREA FROM LATE SUNDAY
A trough and associated upper level system will move slowly east across central and southern Queensland during the rest of this weekend and early next week. This will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity across the Flood Watch area.
Catchments within the Flood Watch area are moderately wet following rainfall over the past few weeks. Catchments will be relatively responsive to rainfall, particularly those that have experienced flooding over the last week.
Locally heavy and intense rainfall associated with thunderstorms is likely across the Flood Watch area from Sunday afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will remain active across the broader Flood Watch area for the rest of this weekend and early next week.
Localised river level rises and flash flooding are likely within the areas of heaviest rainfall, with isolated minor to moderate riverine flooding possible. Although the Flood Watch area is quite large to reflect the broad area at risk, widespread flooding is NOT expected. Due to the localised nature of the heavier falls, at this stage it is not possible to be more specific about the areas of highest flood risk.
Flooding may result in disruption to transport routes and isolation of some communities.

Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam
Don and Proserpine Rivers((Only for the Don River))
Pioneer River
Dawson and Don Rivers
Calliope River
Boyne River
Baffle Creek
Kolan River
Burnett River
Burrum and Cherwell Rivers
Upper Brisbane River
Lower Brisbane River(Specifically the Bremer River and Lockyer, Laidley and Warrill Creeks)
Logan and Albert Rivers
Gold Coast Rivers and Creeks
Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchments: Mary River, Noosa River, Sunshine Coast Rivers and Creeks, Pine and Caboolture Rivers, Condamine Rivers.
