Police are appealing for public assistance after the break and enter of two businesses in the Whitsundays this morning.
Around 1.30am, unknown offenders gained entry to a Galbraith Park Road, Cannonvale shopping complex and removed two safes containing a sum of cash.
Anybody who may have information regarding this incident is being encouraged to contact CrimeStoppers or Policelink on 131 444.
Police are urging other Whitsunday business owners to review their security arrangements and be vigilant about this type of crime.
