Four people were injured when a golf buggy crashed on Hamilton Island this afternoon.
Initial investigations suggest around 3:05pm, the buggy was travelling on an internal access road when it has collided with a vehicle and rolled.
All four occupants of the buggy were taken to the Hamilton Medical Centre before two were airlifted to the Mackay Base Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Investigations are continuing.

This story is not quite factual.
The buggy did not roll. It remained upright at all times and all passengers were wearing seatbelts.
Also, Hamilton Island does not have the medical equipment on the island to diagnose spinal injuries, so the purpose of the medivac is to get patients to the hospital so this diagnosis can be made.
I am delighted to advise that both of the guests have been discharged from hospital and are now on their way back to Hamilton Island to continue their holiday.
