ABC NewsNorth Queensland MP Jan Jarratt says she is seeking legal advice after a newspaper article claimed she was improperly using her parliamentary allowance.
The Courier Mail last week reported Ms Jarratt, Labor's Member for the Whitsunday and Parliamentary Secretary for Employment and Economic Development, used the money to pay credit card bills and council rates.
