A woman has been charged following an incident where a man was allegedly stabbed in the back at Mandalay last night.
Police were called to the Stormvogel Drive address shortly after 7pm where they located the injured man. He was taken to the Mackay Base Hospital in a serious condition for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A 40-year-old local woman has been charged with wounding and is to appear at the Proserpine Magistrates Court on February 14.
