Virtual Whitsundays Views - you're almost there!

A new Virtual Reality service promoting the Whitsundays will give potential visitors an 'almost there' unique preview to help plan their visit to our beautiful region.

The VR service is supplementing the Whitsundays Online Booking Service, "Hi from the Whitsundays" - its owner says the capacity to be able to bring an almost life-like experience on to anyone's computer or even mobile device, should encourage even more folks to put the Whitsundays down on their Travel plans.

"We will be using this technology to promote not just the natural beauty the Whitsundays has to offer, but also the Whitsundays best tourism operators and their products and services that we promote through our Booking Service on HI.NET.AU" he said today.

"We will be updating the map several times a week with new VR's. In the next few days, we will be contacting the operators who book with us and giving them a unique and free opportunity to 'VR' their services and products."
